NOOR and Nikon Europe are delighted to announce the first online Nikon-NOOR Academy that will take place in Spring 2021.
Each masterclass will take place over 2 weeks with 4 training session days. Each class with 15 participants will work together with 3 NOOR authors as tutors, to share experiences, work on portfolios, improve editing skills, and learn how to create more impactful visual stories. Additionally, key industry leaders will give inspiring lectures around new approaches in the visual storytelling field.
Nikon and the NOOR Foundation are committed to encouraging young, aspiring photojournalists and documentary photographers. Masterclasses are provided free for all participants, made possible with the continued support of Nikon Europe since 2008. All masterclasses are open for all emerging visual storytellers from the following countries:

Shuang bao tai 双胞胎 is the Chinese word for twin. Following on from Land of Ibeji, Sanne de Wilde and Bénédicte Kurzen travel to Mojiang in Yunnan for the second chapter of their project about the mythology of twinhood. The area has an exceptionally high percentage of twins, celebrated in its annual tropic of cancer twin festival.
