After Us the Deluge in New York City

Kadir van Lohuizen's long-term project on the sea level rise Rising Tide will be exhibited in New York City, at the Museum of City of New York. Rising sea levels affect us all. In honor of the 50th anniversary of Earth Day, Rising Tide presents works by Dutch documentary photographer Kadir van Lohuizen that illustrate the dramatic consequences of the climate crisis across the world through photographs, video, drone images, and sound. Experience the effects of rising sea levels in Greenland, Bangladesh, Papua-New Guinea, Kiribati, Fiji, the Netherlands, the U.K., Marshall Islands, Jakarta, Panama, Miami, and in New York.

"Grozny: Nine Cities" exhibited in Paris for Doctors Without Borders' 20th anniversary since its Peace Nobel Prize

"Grozny: Nine Cities", a project by Olga Kravets, Maria Morina and Oksana Yushko, curated by Anna Shpakova, will be exhibited on December 10th, 2019, in commemoration of the 20-year anniversary since Medecins Sans Frontiere won the Nobel Peace Prize. Olga Kravets will discuss about her photographs and do a guided visit.

Benedicte Kurzen & Sanne De Wilde | "Land of Ibeji" wins award at Lianzhou Foto

NOOR photographers and Nikon Ambassadors Benedicte Kurzen and Sanne De Wilde won the jury prize in China at Lianzhou Foto for their series "Land of Ibeji". They showcased their photos as part of the “A Chance for the Unpredictable” exhibition.

Rising Tide by Kadir van Lohuizen at the Maritime Museum in Amsterdam

Up until May 3, 2020, Kadir van Lohuizen's long-term project on the sea level rise "Rising Tide" will be exhibited at the Maritime Museum in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. The exhibition will display old and new work on the consequences of the rising sea levels. "Arctic: New Frontier" by Kadir van Lohuizen and Yuri Kozyrev is also being exhibited with a newly produced 25 minute film on a 12 meter screen.

Bénédicte Kurzen | "Violence in Nigeria" featured in MSF and exhibited in Paris

Criminal groups and extreme violence in the northwestern Nigerian state of Zamfara have caused hundreds of thousands of people to flee their villages and seek shelter in the town of Anka.

Bénédicte Kurzen's project on violence in Nigeria is featured in Doctors Without Borders/ Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF)'s website.

From October 1st until November 2nd, her project will be exhibited in Paris. Nikon Ambassador Bénédicte Kurzen spoke about “Violence in Nigeria” on October the 5th.

Jon Lowenstein | Exhibition at The Gallery Club in Amsterdam and Haarlem

Jon Lowenstein will exhibit his project "South Side" at The Gallery Club, a platform for photography. There will be an Open House in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, on October 13, from 1 P.M. to 6 P.M. and in Haarlem on October 26, from 3 P.M. to 5 P.M.

Kadir van Lohuizen | Opening of the "Rising Tide" exhibition

Kadir van Lohuizen's exhibition on the rising sea levels opened at the Het Scheepvaartmuseum on October 4, 2019. “Rising Tide” is a mix between old and new work and will be exhibited until May 10, 2020.
